TENDER FLURRIES |
Someone touched my heart today when they offered me a smile. |
It settled gently in my soul and will stay for quite awhile |
Like the golden rays of sunshine; like the graceful falling snow, |
It seems to warm and soothe me and confirm what I should know. |
In the never ending bustle of all the things to do, |
A smile can bring such comfort and I give one back...to you. |

To those who may be interested: This page has been on my site since 2001 and I had the wrong person listed at author.. James Robert Rowe gave me permission to use this poem, claiming it was his.. It has taken 4 years to find out who the truthful author is.... Marilyn Michon. A friend of mine sent me a page with this poem on it yesterday, Feb. 5, 2005 and asked me if I have this poem on my site. I did. But the page she sent me, and my page listed 2 different people as authors.. hmmmmm... So I wrote to the other person, M Michon, to 'advise' her that the poem was written by someone else... What a surprise I had!!! She, Marilyn Michon IS the author of Tender Flurries and NOT Dr. James Robert Rowe, as I was lead to believe... You know... this is tragic.. for 4 years, credit for this poem was going to the wrong person, and it is just not fair... I am feeling pretty feisty about this right now... and would confront Dr. Rowe/aka Brat, or Rowe-Loy whichever it really was... but he passed on about a year ago. He would not want to hear what I would have to say to him. So.... if anyone sees a poem on my site where I have his name as author,or if you have any questions as to whether it is his or not, or you know who the real author is, will you please leave a message in one of the guestbooks... and I will contact you..
